The Internal Medicine Department at Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for adults with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Gastrointestinal (GI) Consultant

Our Gastrointestinal (GI) Consultant provides specialized care in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases of the digestive system. With extensive expertise in both medical and interventional gastroenterology, consultant is committed to delivering accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and compassionate care to patients with gastrointestinal concerns.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• General pediatric consultations and sick visits• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions such as gastritis, ulcers, liver diseases, pancreatitis, bowel disease, and gastrointestinal cancers.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and polypectomy.
• Provide expert consultation for patients with complex digestive and liver conditions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nutritionists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

Surgeon Consultant – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Our Surgeon Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology provides expert care for women’s health, pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological conditions. With advanced surgical training and years of experience, the consultant is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and babies, while addressing complex women’s health needs with compassion and precision.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform obstetric and gynecological surgeries, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies, and minimally invasive procedures.
• Provide high-quality prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care for mothers and newborns.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and reproductive health issues.
• Work closely with the maternity team to manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.

our Surgery Department is committed to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate surgical care for patients of all ages. With a team of highly trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff, we provide a wide range of surgical procedures using both traditional and advanced techniques.

Dr. Krouch Sophallyda is a highly qualified and committed anesthesiologist serving as a Senior Consultant and Part-Time Technical Advisor at Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital. With broad clinical and academic experience, she plays a vital role in improving anesthesia and critical care services in Cambodia. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Sophallyda actively contributes to medical education and national professional societies. She is dedicated to enhancing patient safety and outcomes through high standards of care and continuous professional development.
